The project proposes a framework of future possibilities for the Warsaw-based theatre company moving to the site of a 1920s concrete framed factory. Beginning with the adaptation of the factory itself for to accommodate the 400 seat auditorium, suite of rehearsal spaces and back of house facilities, the company is able extend its functionality and creative spaces by extending out from a new pavilion building to link other existing buildings on the site with an open framed timber structure. The overall masterplan's focus is generated around a semi-private garden space in the centre of the city block, which is gently sloped to face the existing factory and provides an impromptu external performance space.
